Mushroom is commonly called the visible part of multicellular fungi. Mushrooms are fungi that form a numerous group of organisms, as there are 38,000 varieties of mushrooms in the world.
In ancient times mushrooms considered to be the elixir of immortality, while they were famous for their magical properties. Pharaohs, indeed, had adopted a law, according to which only they had the right to taste them and not mere mortals.
Mushrooms have a high nutritional value. They have high quality of proteins and low saturated fat, sodium and cholesterol! Mushrooms are also a rich source of dietary fiber and vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin complex B, iron, zinc, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium and copper and have few calories. It is reported that strengthens the body’s defenses, helps to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, acts against atherosclerosis and has antimicrobial, antiviral and anticancer properties.
Moreover, as an appetizer or main course, cold or hot, a soup can excite even the most demanding gourmand. Digestible and light have great nutritional value, because the water-soluble components of food remain in the broth of the soup and are ideal choices for a balanced diet.
