Stew rabbit



1 rabbit in portions

1 ½ kg onions for stew

3 to 4 cloves of garlic

½ cup of olive oil

1 kg tomatoes

½ cup of vinegar

2-3 bay leaves

1 sprig of rosemary


Salt – freshly ground pepper



Slice the meat, wash it and leave it for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator, after spraying with vinegar.

Saute meat lightly in a pan with some oil.

Chop the tomatoes and put them in the pot along with the garlic, bay leaves, rosemary, cinnamon, vinegar, salt and pepper. Add 2 cups of water and the remaining oil.

Boil for about half an hour.

Add the onions to the pot, cover and let simmer for about 1 hour, shaking the pan periodically.
