Trachana pie


1 glass trachana (sweet)

3 glasses of water

9 eggs

1 cup oil

½ kg cheese


¾ crust pastry for pie


1 egg yolk

½ cup of oil



Boil the water, add the trahana remove pot from heat and let it rise.

Press the cheese with a fork and when trachanas cools pour into the pot.

Add one by one the eggs, stirring constantly and finally pour the oil and a little pepper.

Butter a baking dish, lay a crust pastry, put some filling and continue in the same way.

Beat the egg yolk with oil and brush the pie.

Bake in a moderate oven until the cake is golden and when it is ready cover with a damp towel until cools.
