Beef giouvetsi


1,5 kg beef

500 gr orzo pasta or noodles

1 onion

3 to 4 cloves of garlic

3 tomatoes

½ cup of olive oil

Salt and pepper



Wash the meat, cut into portions and place in a pan.

Finely chop the garlic, onion and tomatoes.

Put them in the baking pan, add a glass of water and stir.

Bake at 200 degrees until the meat is tender.

Pour 3 to 4 cups of water, salt, pepper and orzo pasta, stirring continuously at the beginning.

Bake until orzo is ready.

If necessary, during baking add hot water.
